What You’ll Do As an On-Call Hospice RN, you’ll provide compassionate, skilled support to patients and families during after-hours needs, helping them remain comfortable and supported wherever they call home. Your responsibilities will include: Responding to after-hours and on-call needs for hospice patients Providing skilled nursing care, symptom management, and urgent interventions Assessing patient needs and using strong clinical judgment to determine appropriate interventions Providing compassionate guidance, education, and reassurance to patients and families Communicating and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary hospice team Documenting patient care accurately and in a timely manner Serving as a calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate resource when patients and families need support most What We’re Looking For Active Pennsylvania RN license required Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience Hospice experience preferred Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient-centered approach and genuine compassion for others Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the care team Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation What We Offer We believe taking care of our patients starts with taking care of our employees.
