Overview JOB DESCRIPTION Provides direct care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Department setting. Provide care for patient pre and post cardiac and IR procedures. Communicate with physicians/Nurse Directors / coworkers as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology and be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment; will rotate on variable shift as required for coverage. Ensures the unit is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and the training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and cardiac procedures ie TEE, Cardioversion procedure. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California. BCLS, ACLS, upon hire and maintain current. Description RN Nurse Manager for our Medical Surgical / Bariatric unit at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. We are a Bariatric Center of Excellence and you will oversee the Bariatric program as the Nurse Manager. Accountable for the delivery of high-quality nursing care and for the administrative management of the nursing unit on a 24-hour basis. Fulfills all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: NNR (for L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum - within 90 days from date of hire for Postpartum; within 180 days post-transfer clinical orientation for Others) 3 years Recent clinical experience.
