Informatics Nurse Specialist, 1.0 FTE Days 3-Day Hybrid (3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote) Provides operational, quality improvement, and management consulting services related to nursing informatics needs across the organization (inpatient, ambulatory, ED, Peri-op, PBMU, regional sites, and Research as applicable. Plans implements, and evaluates projects related to system development, operational and strategic planning, and policy development to improve the quality of care. Provides leadership, expertise, education, program development, and consultation services to promote the standards of nursing practice. Works collaboratively with the Information Services (IS), Project Management Office (PMO), clinical leaders, management team, and other health care professionals in the pursuit of better outcomes through the optimization of the electronic health record (EHR) and other innovative technology solutions (i.e. digital health, population health, patient safety, and quality initiative work). Required Education and Experience Registered Nurse, BSN. Minimum two (2) years of work experience in nursing, including pediatrics and IT-related work experience. Description NIGHT SHIFT The Senior Admissions RN has the primary responsibility or coordinating admissions and bed placement for patients requiring admission. This includes admissions from all areas, including, but not excluding, emergency departments, direct admits, surgical spaces and transfers. Chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria will be performed to assure appropriate bed placement and coordination.
