Minimum of 2 years comparable clinical back office medical assistant experience. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. This is a clinical faculty position at the rank of Teaching Associate. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. Clinical faculty hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. The base salary range for this position will be $10,833 - $15,175 per month ($130,000 - $182,095 per year), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. In home caregiving FTE: .5, Shift: Day, Schedule: Part Time -M-F Position Summary Provide assistance to professional staff. Works with leadership and program staff in carrying out daily activities. Is involved in implementing/ facilitating program related processes. Effectively communicates with program team, participants, and other stakeholders relevant to the applicable program. Responsibilities Implements and facilitates group activities Provides bathroom, transfer, mealtime and ambulation assistance to all participants Assists with noontime meal preparation and clean up Communicates with team members, participants, rehab professionals and families Requirements Current BLS and First Aid certification Must have current food handlers permit Minimum one (1) year experience in health care setting working with the elderly Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.51 - $25.47 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
