The hours of operation for the Lung Care clinic are Monday-Friday , 8am-5pm . Your primary schedule will be during those hours, with periodic need to work outside your schedule to serve our patients. What does a LPN do? As a LPN, you will provide patient care under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner or other non-physician provider. What does a typical day on the job look like? Competently assists providers to maximize patient volume, administers medications, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and returns patient calls in a timely manner. Ensures effective patient communication and efficient patient flow. Documents patient care accurately and timely. Performs EMR tasks correctly and timely. Processes patient referrals timely and follows up to ensure the specialist report or test result is received. Follows all regulatory and patient safety clinical standards. Works and communicates effectively with all providers. Promotes teamwork. Providers great customer service in person and on the telephone. Performs administrative duties such as greeting patients; registration; scheduling; pre-certification of tests, procedures and medications; processing insurance forms; preparing financial records; answering phones; and entering ambulatory care charges. What are the requirements for the job? Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing, or accredited school of professional nursing. Current license to practice in the state of Missouri. Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician’s office setting, preferred. Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association. Basic office skills, patient centered mindset, excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment. Field Nurse Case Manager - Greater Kansas City Area

Paradigm Independence, MO

$68,500 - $92,500 / hour

Paradigm is looking for a full-time, 0.75 - 1.0 FTE (30-40 hours per week), benefited Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the Greater Kansas City area . This is a salaried position: base salary range at 0.75 FTE is $68,500 - $72,500. At 1.0 FTE, base salary range is from $84,000 - $92,500 annually. A Field Nurse Case Manager role is a hybrid position. The candidate must be located in the Greater Kansas City area due to regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. You must be willing to travel and have a compact RN license in the state of Missouri or Kansas, whichever is the state of residence. The field nurse case manager is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The field nurse case manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers. Qualifications Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or Missouri (state of residence) required Experience in case management of workers comp cases strongly preferred Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) strongly preferred (must obtain within two years of hire date) Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight Skilled at patient education Valid driver’s license and good driving history
