Job Summary The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Prepares patient for surgery. May be assigned responsibility for circulating, and provides post anesthesia care. Provides medical screening examine for appropriate disposition of patients. Assesses patient during labor, delivery and post partum. Provides newborn assessment. Assesses resuscitation needs of the newborn.
