The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams in ambulatory, outpatient, clinic, or specialty care settings. The MA assists with patient intake, basic clinical procedures, documentation, scheduling, and maintaining efficient patient flow while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures. Location SAINT LOUIS, MO 63110 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care APP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider position is eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation reimbursement, which will be discussed with interviewed candidates. In addition, hires are eligible for additional compensation bonuses tied to productivity and retention. These positions offer billable hours, shift and holiday differential, and monthly bonuses. Completes the Post-anesthesia record and assures all patients have met the discharge criteria prior to discharge; and provides all patients post-operative instructions. Assures the delivery of quality clinical care through participation in NSH benchmarking programs. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY: Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S. Graduate of approved school of professional nursing with current and valid licensure with State Board of Nursing. Minimum of two years of experience required in ICU/Emergency Room/Recovery Room or other critical care nursing environment. Knowledge of State, Federal and Accrediting Body regulations and standards related to healthcare. Ability to achieve CPR, ACLS, PALS certification within 60 days of employment. Ability to relate and work effectively with others. Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
