Emphasize preventive care, such as immunizations, screenings, and health maintenance activities. Provides effective education, educational resources, and support to patients and their families. Utilizes nursing skills to determine the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and educational needs of the patient/family/significant other and work with the patients entire care team to advocate on the patient’s behalf. Contributes to the educational process for patients, staff and self. Promotes clinical effectiveness, efficient use of resources, and quality care in practice setting. Minimum Experience Requirement : Two years of chemotherapy administration experience working as an outpatient infusion RN, in a clinic, physician office, or hospital setting. Oncology Ambulatory Infusion Center experience preferred. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service and service recovery skills.
