Southtowns Care Center is looking for Registered Nurse/Nurse Supervisors to care for our patients. Our goal is to promote superior care for the health and well being of our patients. Our Registered Nurse/ Nurse supervisors are responsible for the oversight on the day-to-day clinical activities of health care personnel, such as LPNs and CNAs. The RN/RN Supervisor must be able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions, as well as administer medication, wound care and other personalized interventions. We are currently paying a $5,000.00 sign on bonus (to be paid in quarterly installments) for this position. Job Duties / Responsibilities: Ensure that personnel adhere to established polices and procedures. Document changes in resident's conditions. Participate in care planning meetings. Mentoring and supervision of LPN's and CNA's. Requirements: Current NYS Registered Nurse license. 3 Years RN experience preferred. Current BLS Certificate. POSITION SUMMARY: Performs various resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS A. Job Knowledge and Role Responsibilities: 1. Demonstrates knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e. physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning delivery of care. 2. Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, infectious disease and wound care, if applicable. 3.
