Monitors and manages the patient and operative environment during surgery to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. The Operating Room at Anschutz campus is a 14 OR unit that treats children and adolescents for any level of injury or illness. The unit supports 24 different surgical specialties and performs more than 23,000 cases a year. We are a unique, yet impressive team comprised of bachelor’s prepared nurses, certified surgical technicians, anesthesia technicians, anesthesia providers, and surgeons. The staff in the OR are proud to provide safe quality of care to our patients.
