Document reminders and client responses. Report refusals, missed doses or other concerns. Caregivers must not independently administer medication, change medication instructions or provide medical advice outside their authorized scope. Transportation When required and authorized, caregivers may: Transport clients to appointments. Assist with approved errands. Transport clients to social activities. Help clients enter and exit the vehicle. Secure mobility equipment appropriately. Follow all client-specific transportation instructions. Maintain a clean, safe and insured vehicle. Attendance and Communication Expectations Dependability is essential in home care. Caregivers must: Arrive on time for every accepted assignment. Confirm assignments according to company procedures.
