Overview Community Health Partners is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Neurosurgery team. In this role, the APP will provide comprehensive care for patients with neurosurgical conditions of the brain and spine, including traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, intracranial hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, brain tumors, degenerative spine disease, neurovascular conditions such as brain aneurysms, and functional neurosurgical conditions such as movement disorders and epilepsy, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical assessments, developing and managing treatment plans, prescribing appropriate therapies, serving as first assist on a wide range of cranial and spine operations, and performing neurosurgical bedside procedures. The APP will support patients throughout the surgical continuum, from initial consultation through surgery, postoperative recovery, and discharge, and ensure high standards of safety and quality. This position follows a 7-on, 7-off schedule with day and night shifts. Night shift responsibilities are assigned based on experience and training. Our Neurosciences department now includes the Bob Smittcamp Family Neurosciences Institute, a five-story, 60,000-square-foot facility on the Community Regional Medical Center campus that opened in May 2026.
