The Sarcoma and Orthopaedic Center specializes in treating rare and complex cancers and tumors of the bones and soft tissues, including muscle, joints, and blood vessels. Our team manages both benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumors, metastatic cancers, and pediatric cases. In addition to sarcoma care, we address orthopaedic conditions common in cancer patients, such as arthritis, fractures, osteoporosis, and avascular necrosis. The Clinical Nurse Resident at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care.
