Part time/48 hours per pay Nights/7:00pm-7:30am The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. Middletown Cardiovascular Group FT/ DAYS/ 80 hours per pay Summary Of Position A Medical Assistant for the Premier Health Physician Companies will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day, and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. Our Medical Assistants are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time. Nature and Scope Independently performed procedures may include, but is not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills will be an ongoing expectation. Qualifications Qualifications - External High School diploma or equivalent certificate Qualified applicants must have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program and/or will be a Certified Medical Assistant. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
