Nurses care for high-acuity patients requiring mechanical ventilation, multiple titratable infusions, vasopressors, vasodilators and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Specialized therapies and equipment include Impella devices, intra-aortic balloon pumps and bedside dialysis.
