Description Performs a variety of laboratory tests, many of which involve numerous steps and techniques, and require use of professional judgment. Average daily census is 14. Our unit collaborates with providers, nursing teammates, recreational therapy, music therapy, social work, chaplaincy, and several other child-friendly volunteer groups. Our average length of stay is 5-7 days. We currently utilize the CPI de-escalation program. We were recently voted twice as a unit to "likely recommend for care" by patients and families.
