Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements by following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Maternal/Child Nurse Role: Provide prenatal nursing services, which include instruction, assessment and monitoring of the physical and emotional status of the patient with a high-risk pregnancy for early detection and intervention of complications. Maternal/Child Nurse Role: Instruct and assess the postpartum patient and newborn for early detection and intervention of complications. Maternal/Child Nurse Role: Instruct and assess the newborn and child’s physical and emotional development, adjustment, and/or abnormalities and reports to the physician. Other duties as assigned. NURSE PRACTITIONER I-Primary care

Evaluates, examines, diagnose, and treats patients in collaboration with their supervising and or substitute supervising physician according to established guidelines and protocols. Maintains and promotes the well-being of the patient through preventative healthcare and guidance. Provides care in the outpatient setting only ? predominately Monday through Friday 1. Regular, consistent, on-site, and timely attendance. 2. Performs suture removal, and dressing changes as per supervising physician's directions. h. Be available for call from home to assist in emergency surgeries. 2. Directs and provides appropriate Pre and Post-operative care. a. Performs history and physicals as designated by the physician. Identifies normal and abnormal findings and reports to the physician in a timely manner. b. Provides preoperative teaching to patients and or families. c. Performs patient rounds ensuring accurate assessment, review of labs and diagnostic procedures, and reports overall progress to supervising physician. d. Orders appropriate testing per established guidelines and as outlined by supervising physician. e. Documentation supports a review of lab/diagnostic results, is reflective of all required history and physical assessment elements. f. Participates in the non-punitive medication reporting system. Ensures accountability for narcotics per regulatory/organizational policies. Participates in office fire, safety, utility, hazard, and disaster drills as required. Participates in on-call, weekend coverage, and first assist responsibilities as required. Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of cardiology experience. Experience with interpreting cardiac imaging and diagnostic testing. Understanding and interpreting ECGs. Experience managing acute and chronic cardiac issues. Including but not limited to acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, heart failure, pacemaker/defibrillators. Willingness to train and interest in the Cardiology setting.
