Supervise and appropriately delegate patient care activities to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Nurse Techs, and Unit Secretaries. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, mandatory education, and competency training. Serve as a mentor or preceptor for new team members and nursing students, as appropriate. Perform additional duties as assigned.
