A Brief Overview The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. This role includes but not limited to rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the electronic medical record, assisting with procedures, supporting providers, and promoting efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered care. Gather and record all pertinent information from patients in order to provide health services. Enters information on patient visits into the medical record and patient data system. Conduct verbal history and appropriate screening for medical record documentation Screen medical and social history with correct documentation of pertinent information.
