Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse (RN). Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires minimum of 3-5 years of Neonatal Intensive Care and/or Pediatric intensive care Experience. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Ability to make independent, clinical, and operational competent decisions in a challenging environment. Requires a valid Indiana Driver's license with no more than 6 accrued points.
