Overview Provides high quality comprehensive nursing care to meet the needs of the patient/client and manages/coordinates the delivery of cost effective multidisciplinary health care services for a caseload of patients/clients consistent with VNS Health philosophy, policy, goals and objectives, and Standards of Nursing Practice. Works under moderate supervision. For Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) only: Provides health education, social support and community linkages to meet the needs of pregnant and postpartum, first-time mothers and their infants. Also responsible for adhering to NFP national guidelines. • Assesses the physical, social and psychological needs and environmental conditions of the patient/client through professional knowledge, skills of observation, interviewing, and physical examination to develop a plan of care. • Understands, interprets, and implements reimbursement protocols; determines the billing source for patient/client care. Description The Medical Assistant I provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Focus of tasks include basic rooming of patient, EKGs, Point of Care Testing and EPIC documentation. Description LPN-Medication Authorizations-Greenlawn, NY-Full Time-Day-Offsite The Offsite Licensed Practice Nurse works as part of a healthcare team by assisting in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high quality patient care in a professional, efficient and safe manner, ensuring the patient flow. The Offsite Licensed Practice Nurse will also provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients.
