Supports daily clinical and office operations within the oncology practice setting. Demonstrates a collaborative team-oriented approach and flexibility by rotating among Oncology Service departments as needed. Maintains knowledge of and compliance with University Hospital (UH), Joint Commission, and Department of Health (DOH) regulations and standards. Participates in evidence-based nursing practice initiatives, quality assurance (QA) activities, and performance improvement (PI) programs to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes. Promotes excellence in patient care through effective communication, teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare professionals required. Minimum of two (2) years of full-time hospital nursing experience preferred. Oncology nursing experience preferred. Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/ONCC Provider Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate and/or Radiation Therapy Certificate required. IV/Venous Access Device Certification required. Required certifications must be obtained within the first ninety (90) days of employment if not already held and maintained throughout employment. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred. Must be able to work predetermined flexible hours.
