Provide general consultation regarding healthrelated concerns within the community. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing. Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, inservice and staff meetings. May provide oversight and direction for care staff. Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
