The RN will provide direct patient care in accordance to AORN standards and SJH policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining a safe surgical environment, fiscal management of supplies and materials, continues education development for themselves and new employees, preceptorships for nursing students and active involvement in performance improvement activities. The RN may also provide back-up assistance to the Charge Validator position and maintain/edit preference cards duties with training.
