Documentation of clinical assessments and interventions in accordance with nursing standards. Patient Transport: Safe patient transport is a critical component of the MRI workflow. The RN – MRI ensures: Safe transfer and transport** of patients to and from the MRI suite, including those arriving from inpatient units, the Emergency Department, or ICU settings. Verification that all transport equipment (IV pumps, oxygen delivery devices, monitoring equipment) is **MRI-safe** prior to entering the scan room. The RN – MRI contributes by: Assisting the MRI technologist with **safe and appropriate patient positioning** for various exam types.
