Job and Responsibilities : Manage the nursing care for all patients in the cardiology unit during your shift Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the unit and coordinate with physicians who might need assistance Recognize changes in patients’ condition and respond appropriately Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for patients or staff members Inform physicians of any changes in patients’ progress, condition or medicinal needs RN License required Previous long term care experience desirable however not required

Licensed Practical Nurses SIGN ON BONUS

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) positions for 3-11, 11-7 shifts, 8 or 12 hours. Good benefits with pay in lieu of benefits program and $1,000 Sign-On Bonus for FT LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) hires. New Management is excited to meet you. We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses- LPNs to join our team. Job Responsibilities: Record a patient’s medical history accurately Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Monitor patients’ conditions, including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc. Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Provide emotional and psychological support when needed Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions Florida LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license required. Previous long term care experience desirable, however not required.
