POSITION OVERVIEW The Weekend Supervisor (LPN, RN) is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing the weekend functions of the Nursing Department(s) to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. The RN for the Indiana WIC Program plays a key role in supporting pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding families through compassionate, client‑centered care. This position provides evidence‑based breastfeeding support, nutrition assessments, tailored education, and community referrals while maintaining a welcoming clinic environment. The nurse will also represent WIC through community outreach, collaborating with local partners, and promote healthy feeding and nutrition practices.
