Location: Acute Care Hospital Tower Work Schedule: Days - Full Time Shift: 7:30 - 6 PM Monday - Thursday PRIMARY PURPOSE The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Location: Moody Outpatient Center 3rd Floor Primary Purpose Performs various optometric pre-testing procedures, including reviewing patient's previous records, obtains and documents patient medical/ocular history, review of systems, chief complaint, preliminary testing, and select supervised testing. Instructs patients on the care and handling (insertion and removal) of contact lenses, to ensure proper patient care and safety. Cleans and stocks lanes (inventory supplies) and reports depleted supplies to ensure sufficient supplies and materials are available to avoid shortages.
