The unit focuses heavily on the care of patients with neuroscience needs, including those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, epilepsy, seizure disorders, MS exacerbations, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and a history of stroke. In addition to the neuroscience focus, the unit also provide care for general medicine and medical trauma patients.
