JOB SUMMARY The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on a daily basis, which require general therapies and interventions related to specific conditions. The RN is under the general supervision of the Director of Inpatient Nursing and Registered Nurse in charge, when not in charge. The position requires flexibility of scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Five Rivers Medical Center on all units.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Current licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas. Experience Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation. Physical Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells.
