Job Description The Perioperative Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless surgical experience for patients and their families. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) phases. This role involves collaborating closely with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process. Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care and family support throughout the three phases of the surgical experience. Assist physicians with equipment, supplies, and support in the Pre-Op and PACU areas. Ensure a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction. ACLS and PALS certifications are required, as designated by specialty. Prior experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center is preferred. Proficiency in Clinical Applications is preferred, with training provided for incumbents. Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment with frequent interruptions.
