Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care per the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. What you will do in this role: Assesses patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively. Manages the quality of care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery. Manages the continuation of care by serving as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems who coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience required One or more years of Behavioral Health RN experience preferred Fingerprinting required.
