This person must have expert knowledge of cancer as a disease process, cancer treatment modalities, and the process of conducting clinical research. She/he is responsible for clinical operations and integrity, compliance, and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and institutional policies and procedures. She/he is also expected to function as a research NP in her/his designated disease area. This position administratively reports to the Senior Director for Cancer Clinical Research and clinically reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Research Operations. Responsibilities Oversees day-to-day management of the solid tumor clinical research nursing teams. The Quality Coordinator's responsibilities may include data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education. Assists with all assigned activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure. Assists with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.
