Safety & Risk Management Assess patient safety risk factors and identify patients requiring specific interventions related to skin integrity, fall risk, and proper use of restraints. Promptly initiate interventions to address identified safety needs. Complete required Safety Tracking Tools and documentation in accordance with policy. Documentation Accurately and promptly document all assessments, interventions, patient responses, and provider communication in the medical record. Ensure documentation reflects clinical decision-making and meets departmental and regulatory standards. Delegation, Supervision & Team Support Supervise assigned staff and delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining responsibility for all care delivered to assigned patients. Report performance issues or concerns involving team members to ensure all patients receive appropriate care and attention. Actively assist coworkers and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment. Patient & Family Education Assess educational needs of patients and families and provide clear, appropriate written and verbal instructions. Document all education provided and evaluate the patient’s understanding. Provider Orders & Clinical Prioritization Perform continuous review, initiation, and implementation of provider orders every shift. Prioritize responsibilities based on urgency, patient needs, and available resources. Demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities, independent decision‑making, and effective time‑management skills. Multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality of care. Complete assigned education modules and annual competencies within required timeframes. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered nurse Credentials RN - Registered Nurse BLS - Basic Life Saving certification ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - must be obtained upon completion of department orientation NIH - Stroke Certification Education RN, Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Entry USD $36.20/Hr.
