OVERVIEW This role leads education and training for nursing staff by helping new employees, planning learning programs, and making sure staff stay up to date on clinical skills, certifications, and best practices. The educator works closely with leaders and other departments to identify learning needs, organize training, support professional growth, and improve the quality of patient care. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and internal equity. Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 9:00am-7:30pm Monday-Friday. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.
