The Director is accountable for the development, design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the residency program and serves as the organization's designated Program Director for ANCC PTAP accreditation. The Director ensures the successful transition of newly licensed registered nurses into professional practice through a structured residency experience that includes organizational orientation, competency-based learning, professional development, mentor-ship, preceptorship, and practice-based learning. Graduate degree or higher, with either the baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, Nursing Professional Development, Healthcare Administration, or related field required Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), PhD, EdD, or related doctoral degree preferred.
