Job Overview Fairview has an immediate opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Dermatology team in Bloomington, MN This is a 1.0 FTE ( 80 hours per two week pay period), benefits-eligible opening. Clinic Hours of Operation are Monday-Thursday: 7:00AM – 6:00PM and Friday: 7:00AM – 5:00PM. The LPN performs delegated nursing and medical functions of data collection and delivery of care to an assigned group of patients, or individualized patient. The LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse, or physician/authorized practitioner and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team. The LPN is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures, and nursing practice guidelines. Responsibilities Collects data for patient assessments. Nurse Help Line RN 0.9 FTE. Department hours are 7:00 am - 9:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Weekend rotation is required, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm . This is a remote opportunity; however, the selected candidate must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin and have the ability to work onsite in St. Paul, MN as needed. Purpose of position The Nurse Help Line RN administers family-centered nursing care to patients, advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and/or provide skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families. This position will provide a centralized Gillette communication center to patients, providers and staff who are on-call, other care sites and community resources.
