Description Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in our as a Neurohospitalist in our inpatient Neurology department, with a possibility of some outpatient. The APP will be rotating between critical care, stroke and general neurology positions. Join the University of Chicago Medicine as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) on the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the comprehensive management of critically ill adult patients in collaboration with attending physicians, fellows, residents, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team members. The APP provides evidence-based critical care to patients with complex surgical, trauma, transplant, and emergency general surgery conditions.
