Job Summary The Charge Nurse manages a designated group of nursing employees on a nursing unit and assures smooth operations of the unit for a designated staff. What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have four (4) years of experience with two (2) in psychiatric nursing and two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; OR a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field and two (2) years of experience and one (1) year in a supervisory capacity Skilled Nursing Facility experience required Current valid licensure as an RN in the state of CA Must be at least 18 years of age Must be CPR, BLS AHA, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment.
