Our unit is dedicated to providing high-quality care to adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Med Surg specializes in assessment, treatment, monitoring, and recovery of patients requiring medical management, post-operative care, telemetry monitoring, and interdisciplinary support. Our team is composed of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants who collaborate to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care focused on safety, healing, and positive patient outcomes. General Summary Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Seeking an experienced Antepartum/Postpartum Registered Nurse for a Full-time Charge Nurse in our Family Center. Will work (3) 12-hr. shifts each week, from 7:00a - 7:30p with share of weekend and holiday. Essential Functions: Coordinates and provides direct patient care in accordance with accepted nursing standards while utilizing the nursing process. Clinical competency in their departmental area of practice, minimum 2 years of experience in clinical area of practice. At least 3 years of Postpartum/ Antepartum nursing experience required and 1 year of previous charge nurse experience preferred.
