Wound Center RN Position Summary The Registered Nurse at the Wound and Hyperbaric Center is responsible for assessing and caring for patients with chronic wounds and employing advanced wound care modalities such as wound vacs, skin substitutes, total contact cats and other state of the art dressings. The Wound and Hyperbaric Center provides ample opportunity to develop relationships with patients and to act as their advocate by coordinating care both in the Wound and Hyperbaric Center and in the community. Education is a strong component to wound care in the area of Diabetes management, pressure off-loading, nutrition, and the application of dressings.
