The Advanced Practice Provider engages in complex medical decision making to provide comprehensive medical management to their caseload of patients. They rapidly assess, diagnose, and initiate emergency stroke interventions and work closely with the Emergency Department, Neuro critical care, Neuro interventional, and Neuro surgical teams. The scope of practice also includes family support, teaching, staff education, consultation, and research. As the Neurology Advanced Practice Provider, you will manage our acute stroke neurology patients and will leverage knowledge of neurological testing and imaging, acute stroke treatment plans, and neurovascular intervention.
