Job Description 01: Develops an action plan and coordinates new employee orientation in conjunction with the Nursing Education department. Develops mechanisms for documentation of initial competencies achieved and sets individualized time frames for accomplishment. Provides orientation goals and strategies to orientee and preceptor. Acts as a resource in providing theory and supervised practice during training and orientation of all new staff. Utilizes adult learning theories to implement action plan strategies.
