The OR performs all specialty surgeries except transplants, and offers state-of-the-art equipment and services. The surgery department is staffed 24 hours during the week. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • High school diploma required. • Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant program. • Possesses 0 – 3 years of relevant clinical experience. • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required. • Some college, preferred. • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. • Excellent communication/listening skills.
