SURGICAL TECH II

OPERATING ROOM FULL TIME/VARIED HOURS/ HOURS PER PAY The Surgical Technologist (ST) performs technical functions to assist in the delivery of patient care within the Operating Room or other areas of the hospital as assigned. Nature and Scope The Certified Medical Assistant works under the direct supervision of the physician and/or provider. A minimum patient base of 1,000 to 3,000 patients is served, and an average of 20 – 50 patients are seen each day.
