Description Job Title: Staff Nurse-Intensive Care Unit Float Pool-Mount Sinai Hospital-Full Time-Nights The Clinical Nurse for the Mount Sinai nursing float pool is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients on a variety of assigned units. Responsibilities Patient Care 1. Delivers patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care and through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards. 2. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. 5. Reach out to nurses and parents/guardians for signed consent or missing information from DMAF to expedite DMAF approval. Liaise with the OSH medical unit for status and updates on DMAF approvals. Ensure DMAF orders for NYC school children are approved expeditiously and are in ASHR. Public Health Nurse Level 1 OSH is an important role to ensure the health and well-being of our students, improve the efficiency of health services, and directly contribute to a healthier safer school environment for all students. Description Patients with life-threatening conditions come to the Institute for Critical Care Medicine (ICCM) at Mount Sinai in their greatest hour of need. Our team of intensive care doctors, nurses, and support staff is always available to perform life-saving measures for patients who require the most critical care possible. The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for assuring compliance with mandated clinical orientation, competency assessment and interventions in the assigned clinical program of designated nursing staff within the Medical Center. The salary range for the role is $64.8517 - $64.8517 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
