Job Details St. Francis Hospital Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a valuable team member. Primary responsibility is the management of critically ill and complex (multi-organ) patients in an intensive care setting. Administer IV fluids, provided completion of annual competency IV therapy training. Monitors patients receiving blood and blood products and TPN under the direction of the RN, who administers the transfusion. Makes recommendations in the application of the nursing process. Participates in planning, and administers direct patient care, including activities of daily living (ADL). Performs point of care testing including blood glucose. Performs nursing procedures as defined in the nursing procedure manual. Administers medication as defined in nursing policy. ALL routes except cannot administer medications IV push/bolus (except for a Normal Saline or heparin flush) or via a central line. LPNs do not administer chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $61.8296 - $61.8296 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
