The nurse role at the birth center is as unique as our model of care. Nurses work closely with our team of Certified Nurse Midwives to provide individualized and evidence-based care to our clients during unmedicated labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. Experience in L+D, Mother/Baby, NICU, or other birth work is essential for this highly autonomous role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum. Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis. Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
