Job Purpose: The Director of Nursing assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the facility. Description The Assistant Nurse Manager for Heart (Cath Lab Stepdown) is a Registered Professional Nurse with broad knowledge and skills who assumes the role of a clinical leader in the daily functioning of the unit and oversight of quality patient care delivery, in conjunction with, or in the absence of, the Nurse Manager. For all NPs hired effective June 1, 2019, National Board Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing required.
