Qualifications for Certified Medication Assistant: Must hold a valid Medication Technician/Aide Certification in the state of employment. Must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/HHA), as required. Previous Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) experience required. Experience in administering oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic medications, and subcutaneous injections required.
